Composition: Dried extract of Urtica dioica Standardized: Based on 22 mg amino acid according to alanine in each F.C. tablet Active ingredients: Polysaccharids, Phytosterols, Flavonoids and Teriterponic acids

Mechanism of effect

1- interaction with blood levels of free (active) steroid hormones by displacing them from their SHBG binding sites; 2- prevention of the interaction of prostate receptors with SHGB.(4)  Interaction with aromatase enzyme: There is substantiated evidence that Urtica dioica extract interferes with conversion of testosterone to estrogens.

Pharmacodynamic

Treatment of micturition problems (urinary frequency, dribbling, hesitancy) at grades I & II of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)  Irritable bladder

Dosage

Take one tablet or 40 drops after each meal 3 times a day with some liquid. Once treatment starts, the effect of treatment appears gradually. Considering chronic, recurrent nature of BPH disease, the medication needs to be taken over a long period of time

1-taking nettle preparations should be avoided during pregnancy 2-Avoid taking in large doses while breastfeeding 3- If a hypersensitivity reaction occurs, discontinue using the product, and consult a doctor

Points of recommendation

1-Iron supplements should be taken 1-2 hours before/after the medicine. 2-.Urtidin overdosing may interact with anti-diabetic and blood pressure lowering medications
